At this moment we have two types of Commercial Licenses. A Geomajas OEM License and a Geomajas Internal Use License. The purpose of an OEM License is to enable you to embed the Geomajas technology into your own software solutions and then resell them to your customers. The purpose of an Internal Use License is to enable you to use the Geomajas technology for your own internal software solutions without having to comply with the AGPL license conditions and without having to fear that all of a sudden somebody would make an IP claim on (parts) of your software application. What is included in a Geomajas OEM License?
- The right to embed Geomajas (version 1.6.x) in your commercial application
- The right to receive and embed Geomajas (version 1.6) bug fix releases
- Eliminates the obligation to comply with the AGPL license terms for your commercial application
- An OEM Annual Upgrade Fee which gives you the right to receive Geomajas minor upgrades (e.g. 1.6 to 1.8)
- An OEM Service Level Agreement (SLA), or Edition, providing you with access to our responsive technical support team and solution resources.

Royalties
When signing an OEM License we also make arrangements for royalty payments.
Royalties are usually based on a percentage of the fair sales price to your customer and the sales volumes of your commercial application.
The purpose of an Internal Use License is to enable you to use the Geomajas technology for your own internal software solutions without having to comply with the AGPL license conditions and without having to fear that all of a sudden somebody would make an IP claim on (parts) of your software application.
What is included in a Geomajas Internal Use License?
- Right to use Geomajas (version 1.6) to build an Internal User Application
- Lifts the obligation to comply with AGPL license terms for the Internal User Application
- Right to deploy the User Application (build with Geomajas) on a total (maximum) heap space defined in the Terms & Conditions of the License
- Right to receive and use Geomajas bugfix releases
- An Internal Use Annual Upgrade Fee which gives you the right to receive Geomajas minor upgrades (e.g. 1.6 to 1.8)
- An Internal Use Service Level Agreement (SLA), or Edition, providing you with access to our responsive technical support team and solution resources
