About GeoSparc

Geosparc was founded in December 2008 by Dirk Frigne, Martin Lagauw and Jan Poté. Its investors and financial contributors currently include IWT, IBBT, private investors and the founders.

Geosparc commercially supports the open source GIS application framework Geomajas. Geomajas couples the innovative power of Open Source with the stability of a true enterprise-class application framework.

Our goal is to complement the open source offering it with commercial services such as service level agreements (we called them Editions), OEM contracts, projects support, consulting services, training services, development services etc.

All our services are provided by a network of Certified Partners. From the beginning we decided that Geosparc was going to be a partner-centric company. This has clear advantages for the end-user: local service, trusted relationships, a total solution offering and the knowledge that those partners are trained and advised by Geosparc.
